Subsequently, while in private practice Dr. Cressman was appointed to the faculty in the orthodontics Department at Tufts and has been teaching for over 20 years. He was a consultant to the Massachusetts Department of Handicapped Children and the orthodontist on the Oro-facial (Cleft-Palate) Team at New England Medical Center. Dr. Cressman has lectured extensively at Tufts in his teaching capacity and has made presentations to various dental groups and meetings.

 

Along with other organizations, Dr. Cressman holds membership in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Massachusetts Association of Orthodontics and the World Federation of Orthodontics.
